Pocket DISHDISH Network has combined with Archos and their Archos Generation 5 media players to offer their PockedDISH service. With PocketDISH (it literally fits into a coat or pants pocket) it's easy to watch your favorite shows anywere you want, when you want. DISH subscribers that have either the ViP722, ViP622 or the ViP 612 satellite receivers can quickly transfer hours of recorded television programming from their DVR Player to the Archos 605 WiFi and Archos 705 WiFi media players. You can purchase one of these Archos media players from authorized DISH Network dealers, major electronics stores or by going to www.archos.com and placing your order online. You can download the free DISH Network plug-in needed to transfer and view your shows by visiting the Archos website.  Transferring your DISH Network programming is easy as pie. Simply turn on your DISH Network DVR (must be either a ViP722-ViP622 or ViP 612 DVR) and PocketDISH and then plug the PockeDISH in to your DVR using the USB cable that came with your PocketDISH. Once connected the on screen menus will guide you through the transfer process. You can also manage the content of your PocketDISH via the receiver. It will take about 5 minutes to transfer every one hour of recorded TV programming. Not too bad. Remember you can only send standard-definition content to the Archos Media Player. Also, if you have parental control locks on any of your recorded programming you will need to enter in your password before sending the programming to your Archos player. Also, on your Archos player you will need to set up locks and a new password as that does not transfer over with the programming. DISH Network and Archos have combined to offer an outstanding service. With PocketDISH you can now enjoy your favorite shows anywhere and at anytime.
